West Ridge

West Rogers Park is also referred to as West Ridge or Nortown. This neighborhood is conveniently situated 10 miles from the Loop on Chicago's north side. This is a neighborhood where old aristocracy, characterized by historic mansions and Georgians, meets the middle-class living arrangements provided by ranch-style homes and bungalows. At nearly every turn you'll find nods to past architectural styles, as well as culturally-inspired restaurants and and ethic-centered boutiques and specialty shops.

West Rogers Park has become a hotbed of diversity over the past century. It houses Chicago's largest Orthodox Jewish, Indian, and Pakistani populations, in addition to a booming number of other ethnicities. Over 80 languages are spoken in this neighborhood that has built its upper-middle class economic success on a veritable myriad of ethnic backgrounds. In fact, Devon Avenue has become the "Little India" of Chicago, boasting dozens of Pakistani and Indian shops. Furthermore, West Rogers Park contains the largest concentration of social, entertainment, and kosher resources for Jewish residents in Chicago. The energy of Devon Avenue and the kaleidoscope of residents in this community distinguish it as one of Chicago's most vibrant and interesting cultural centers.

Elegant, yet affordable, single-family homes in a variety of architectural layouts grace the residential streets of West Rogers Park and provide an appealing selection of real estate.
